"Introduction to AuthAnvil v2" webcast recording now available for download

For our customers that were not able to attend our webinar today introducing AuthAnvil v2, you can now download and watch a recording of that event in the "Online Training and Recordings" section of the Scorpion Software Customer Portal.

Congratulations Microsoft on the release of Windows Essential Server Solutions

It has been a long trek, but today Microsoft annouced Windows Essential Server Solutions, a new family of integrated server solutions that address the unique needs of small and midsize businesses (SMBs). During times of stationary or shrinking budgets and economic uncertainty, minimizing the redundancies and optimizing parts in our IT infrastructure can help control costs and raise productivity. With the unique challenges firms face upgrading and maintaining their IT infrastructure, smart organizations are re-evaluating their plans and expenditures and investing wisely.

With the release of Small Business Server 2008 (SBS2008) and Essential Business Server 2008 (EBS2008), a common question I get asked by our clients is if we will support it.

Scorpion Software will be closed for Canadian Thanksgiving

On Monday, October 13th, all of Canada will be celebrating Thanksgiving Day. This is a national holiday celebrated across Canada on the second Monday of October of each year to give thanks to God for the things one has at the close of the harvest season.

As a result, Scorpion Software will be closed Monday, with staff celebrating the holiday with their families.

To those celebrating, we hope you have a safe and enjoyable holiday!
